Sophie is such a pleasure to have in the house and nothing is too much trouble. On recent date night she was nothing but professional, polite and discreet. For dinner parties, she was chatty and polite to guests and then got back to business. Her menu creation and execution is superb! The food is fresh and sourced from local suppliers making it even more delicious. We couldn't recommend her more highly.

All the food was perfect from the Thai curry to chicken goujons! I cannot believe I have managed to get my boys eating proper food, and it’s all thanks to your delicious dishes, they cannot get enough of your food. We can now sit down as a family and eat the same food and all enjoy it. Yummy, cannot wait for you to restock the freezer next month!

We have now known Sophie for a number of years and she has catered very regularly for us, either filling our freezer with delicious and healthy home cooked supper dishes or providing dinner parties for a group of friends or even a large gathering or up to 50 people. Not matter what the size of party, Sophie always produces fantastic food, and then charms all our guests while clearing away and leaving a spotless kitchen. She is creative with her menu suggestions and happy to accommodate any of our faddy food habits. I can highly recommend her.

Her food is particularly tasty and very well presented.

Sophie’s quiet, unflappable approach when preparing and cooking in your own home is matched by the high quality of her food – mainly sourced locally from quality butchers and farm shops - and culinary expertise. She has produced a fabulous meal for a large dinner party in our home, and I have enjoyed her food at a friend’s (much larger) party. I would highly recommend Scrumptious and Sophie!

Weekend entertaining in Sandwich Bay (Summer 2016)
Sophie has cooked for me at my home on two occasions; once for a week and once for a long weekend. I have no hesitation in recommending her delicious food and her ability to cope with rapidly changing requirements. She remained quietly and calmly in control and produced a range of tasty and delicious meals with a minimum of fuss. The first time Sophie came to us her food was absolutely first class, the next time- it seemed almost better if that is possible. She was also a pleasure to work with.
Dinner Party in Shalford (May 2016)
Sophie has catered for two large family parties for us, most recently my daughter's 21st birthday party for about 20 people, and on both occasions we were delighted with the beautifully presented, modern, delicious food that Sophie served up. Our only problem was which menu to choose, as there was so much mouth-watering choice. Everything from the canapés to the exquisite puddings was perfect and all the guests commented on how lovely it was.
Sophie herself is a delight to work with - a brilliant chef, enthusiastic, patient, hardworking and good-humoured. How she managed to produce such lovely food from our wonky old kitchen I will never know. I would have no hesitation in recommending Scrumptious.
I'd just like to add that the waiting staff that Sophie employs have always been equally hardworking, cheerful and smiley.

Cheltenham Race Week, Breakfast, picnic lunches, tea and 5 course dinners for 14 guests (March 2016)
Once again Sophie came to cook for our House party of fourteen over four days. Deliciously cooked breakfasts, picnics and scones, brownies, cakes and tea sandwiches when we returned from the races.
