Scrumptious is a local company based in Surrey and serving Sussex, London and all the home counties. I run a bespoke catering service on a personal level- whether it's simply a homemade pie delivered fresh to your door for a cosy night in, a lavish 5 course dinner party cooked in the comfort of your own home or a Wedding Breakfast on the most memorable day of your life.
I, Sophie Ford (Jebb) trained at Leith’s School of Food and Wine achieving a full diploma in food and wine. From here my passion and true love for food began. Alongside setting up Scrumptious in 2006 I also worked frequently with Cottage Caterers, Rhubarb and Kalm Kitchen where I learnt many more skills and techniques. My ambition is to develop Scrumptious into a company where I can use my own style and attention to detail in party planning your event and creating exquisite dishes, which all your guests will love and be talking about.
My aim is to exceed expectations visually and also create a taste sensation to remember- ensuring you have the most memorable and delicious meal, whether it’s an intimate dinner with your best friends, a celebratory party or a corporate network evening.
All my menus are written and created by me and tailored to your every need, taste and dietary requirement, where necessary. I carefully select all my produce as locally as I can, using Kilfeather & Dumbrill for my meat and Secretts Farm shop for the very best ingredients. I always work on a personal level alongside you, involving you as much or as little as you wish. I can plan your whole event from napkins, flowers and invites should you need this service.
